Do you replace old kitchen countertops?Yes, Cork Quartz Worktops can supply and fit new worktops to existing kitchens. To avail of this service, clients must organise the removal of existing worktops, and the disconnection of hobs, sinks, etc before new worktops can be fitted.

Where are you located and what areas do you cover?Cork Quartz Worktops are located in Youghal, Co Cork. Our eircode is P36 CP58. We cover Munster and other areas upon request.

How long does it take to receive a worktop ?The templating [measuring] of a worktop will usually be scheduled for 4 to 8 working days from date of notice that the kitchen is ready to template. Please do not order a templating visit until your kitchen fitter confirms it is fully ready for measurement. The fitting of a worktop is usually scheduled for 10 to 15 working days from date of templating. The above dates are guidelines and may vary due to volume of orders at any one time, bank & builder's holidays and unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control. Please note: any clients seeking a worktop fitting before Christmas, must have their order confirmed and deposit paid by the last week of August in any given year.

Is there a guarantee with my work surface?Cork Quartz Worktops offer a 1-year warranty on fabrication/fitting of worktops - subject to terms and conditions. Quartz manufacturers e.g. CRL and Silestone, offer a 2-25 year guarantee - subject to their own terms and conditions. Most brands require you register the fitting of your worktop with them directly, to avail of these guarantees. Cork Quartz Worktops cannot register these external guarantees on your behalf, due to GDPR.

What type of worktop is the easiest to keep?Cork Quartz Worktops recommended quartz worktops as the easiest to clean and maintain. All worktops require appropriate care to keep them in good condition. Should you need any advice on caring for your worktops, we are always happy to help.
